Twenty years ago, ONE was founded by Manuel Bento de Sousa, a young Portuguese entrepreneur who had just launched a trading business, importing some watch and jewelry brands. Driven by his passion and knowledge of the industry, Manuel built the brand from the ground up.

ONE truly democratized and revolutionized the sector in Portugal, becoming the leading player in watches in the country and ranking among the top five in jewelry within its segment.

Since 2023, Manuel has passed leadership to Ana Rita Frazão. Ana Rita is now the CEO and has been leading the brand through a new wave of internationalization and consolidation in Portugal, where the strongest competition arrives every day.

Ana Rita and her team, based in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal, develop 100% in-house designed products. The team is made up of 90% women, which allows the brand to be truly by women to empower women.
